We also have a great line of paint sundries and supplies. We have a color-matching computer in our department so we can match most any color or brand you want. We also have a good selection of marine quality paints and varnishes. Nancy, Linda and Amy (Bama) run the paint department. Nancy and Bama have attended the Ace Paint school in Matteson, Illinois - five days of intensive study on all matters of paint and related topics. Other staff members have also attending various training sessions and we’re all ready to help you tackle any paint project you have. | TOOLS - We have the best line up of power tools in town - anything from small Black and Decker cordless screwdrivers to powerful Milwaukee tilt-lock circular saws.  The other brands we carry include - DeWalt, Skil-Bosch, Makita, Delta and Porter-Cable. And we can fill your requests in the hand tool department too. Need a shingling hammer? - We’ve got it! A draw shave? - No problem. We also repair most Power Tools in our repair shop. | ELECTRICAL - We can help you wire your new home, re-wire your antique lamp, or find that crazy light bulb you’ve been searching for. How about those compact flourescent bulbs (CFL's) everyone is raving about? We have em, and the Energy Star instant Rebates! Come see Josh R. for any and all electrical questions. It's "shocking" how helpful Josh R is! Remember, if we don't have it, we probably can special order it for you. | PLUMBING - We have added depth to our plumbing fittings and pipe so we’re sure to have enough stock for your entire project.  We also have a good selection of sinks, faucets, toilets, hot water heaters, portable heaters and fans. Bob and Linda have been running this department for the last several years. Bob and Linda are the knowledge banks of hardware and home improvement. If you have a serious hardware problem, they will likely have the solution! | HARDWARE - Since “hardware” is in our name, you would expect us to have a pretty good selection of that stuff - and we do! Check out our new Cabinet knob display, picture hangers, cup hooks, chain, hinges, door knobs, weather-stripping, gutters, nails, curtain rods, padlocks, mailboxes, signs, we’ve got it all and more! Check out our expanded nuts and bolts aisle! Galvanized, stainless, brass, plated, phillips  drive, square drive, socket head, hex head, metric, SAE, wood screws, set screws, cap screws, machine screws, sheet metal screws, drywall screws, decking screws and we how have CHROME for you car and motorcycle buffs! If you don’t find the fastener you need, ask Scott he knows what is in every box and bin in that department! | HOUSEWARES - Sonia has been making new and exciting things happen in our housewares department. We have a full selection of small appliances in stock - everything from toasters to microwave ovens - Kitchenaid mixers to espresso makers. We’ve added a lot of new giftware and gadgets and we have cookbooks too. And many people are not aware that we have cleaning supplies in stock - including vacuum cleaners, squeegees, rags, brooms, mops and we probably have a cleanser to use on any surface in the county. | GARDENING
- Every year our garden department gets bigger and better. With our 6000 square foot outdoor nursery, we have once again added our depth of plants and products! Come check out our huge line of Aw Pottery! It is truly amazing!Chris is the garden department manager, with valuable assistance from Becky, our resident Master Gardener along with Sandy, Deanna and Travis our gardening assistants. Altogether, they bring years of gardening experience with them, personal and professional. We have a full line of soils, compost, chemicals, fertilizers, pots, garden tools, watering supplies, seeds, wheel barrows, and plants throughout the year. You won't want to miss our new nursery! Tell your friends! | SPORTING GOODS - Fishing, crabbing, bicycling, bird watching, football, baseball, basketball, soccer, camping, hiking, barbecuing, croquet, darts, table tennis - what do you like to do in your spare time? Tawnya is very active in softball and volleyball, not o mention her little boy! Wanda has been with Ace for some time now!
